WinMLS can have several measurements in memory simultaneously. One of these measurements is named the active measurement. When performing or opening a new measurement, this is set to the active measurement.
The active measurement is used in several ways:
File->Save Measurement As.… will save the active measurement
Measurement->Measurement Information... will display information about the active measurement and you can also select a new measurement as active (this can also be done from the Measurement Selection Toolbar).
If auto-refresh is checked “active curve” mode
(Plot->Auto Refresh is set as shown in the figure below), the curve
belonging to the active measurement will be refreshed when changes in the plot
settings are made.
