Step 2 – Setting input and output level

Setting input and output levelThe input and output levels are calibrated. This sound card does not support setting the input level from WinMLS.

The output level can be set in small steps from 0 dB to -30 dB using the WinMLS mixer.

The low frequencies seem to be shifting with about 1 dB at low output levels.

If you wish to calibrate the output mixer, you may get some error messages. After the calibration, go to the Mixer\Output subfolder and find the calibration file. Open this file and remove the levels that are smaller than -30 dB.

Step 3 – System Delay

System DelayWinMLS is currently not able to measure the correct system delay if using this sound card.

Because of this reason, correction for sound card is not turned on as default (step 7 in MeasurementSettings…).

For more information about this, go to MeasurementSystem Delay….
