How?

You can either use WinMLS to playback the output signal and record using a DAT/MD/CDR player, or you can do it opposite.

 

You can also use two DAT/MD/CDR players to do the recordings. Then you can analyze the recorded signals in WinMLS later. To do this, just playback the recorded signal from the DAT/MD/CDR while you perform a measurement in WinMLS. The WinMLS measurement-parameters have to be exactly the same, please see the section about performing the measurement below.

 

We recommend that you playback the signal from the DAT/MD/CDR and use WinMLS to record the signal. This is because then you will get the result (the impulse response) immediately and you can therefore more easily detect possible errors. A guide on how to do this using sweep as stimulus follows below.
