Sound card settings

If you are going to use WinMLS for analysis only, and not for performing measurements, you should skip this section.

 

If you are using Windows XP as operative system, you can optimize your PC for sound card applications by following the instructions given at this link:

It is really worthwhile to have a look at this website, especially if you have problems getting you sound card to work properly.

 

First display the Load Sound Card Setup dialog as shown below (to do this, select Load Sound Card… from the Setup menu).

 

 

If you find your sound card in the Matching setups list or in the Manual setup selection list, select your sound card and click the Load setup button. A wizard with instructions will appear, follow the instructions in this wizard. Try to measure. If this works, you can skip this section.

If you cannot find your sound card in the Matching setups list or in the Manual setup selection list, select the setup named Default from the Manual setup selection list as shown in the figure below.
